Corner Brook Atom C Royals win Silver in the C division at the Mount Peyton Invitational Tournament, Grand Falls-Windsor, Jan 27-29.

The Corner Brook Atom C team headed to Grand Falls-Windsor for the Mount Peyton Invitational Tournament. Their first game was Saturday morning against the home team, Exploits Valley C. The Royals played with just 9 skaters and won 4-0. Goalie Joseph Cluney got a shut-out and Brent Pittman was player of the game for the Royals. Their second game was Saturday afternoon against Gander C. For this game they had 10 skaters.   The Royals came back and tied Gander 3-3. Abby Churchill was awarded player of the game. The final game of the day was late Saturday night. The Royals won against Glovertown 1-0. Joseph Cluney got his second shut-out of the tournament and Ryan Purcell-Pilgrim was player of the game.

Sunday morning the Royals played a tough championship game against a strong Twillingate team. They were defeated 7-0. The Royals won the silver medal.
