The weekend of January 27/28 CBMHA hosted an invitational Bantam House League tournament.

Originally 5 teams were to participate however due to poor weather on Saturday Gros Morne wasn’t able to attend. That left the tournament with 4 teams Port Aux Basques, Stephenville, and the remaining Bantam players in our division who were split to form the 2 remaining teams; Corner Brook Blue and Corner Brook White. The tournament saw a lot of close entertaining hockey. All teams in the tournament were very competitive with each other as evidenced by the scores.

The bronze medal game saw Stephenville clinch with a 4 – 1 win over Port Aux Basques.

The gold medal game saw both Corner Brook teams playoff with Corner Brook Blue coming out on top 4-2 over the Corner White team. Thanks to all of the kids and their parents for making this a successful and well played tournament and taking the time to brave the extreme weather to attend. Thanks to everyone who took the time to help out during the weekend either through the canteen/coaching the kids or whatever else was done.CBMHA would like to thank MountainView House for donating the Player of the game awards and also Western Lock for donation of medals for the playoff rounds.
