If anyone is interested in coaching the Pee Wee C Rep
team this year, please complete an application and submit it to the
Divisional VP ASAP. Tryouts will be called shortly.

IMPORTANT SAFETY CONCERN FOR ALL PLAYERS
This past weekend there was an incident in the main arena concerning players
and the Zamboni and attendants. For the safety of all CBMHA players, coaches
and the staff of The Pepsi Centre, ALL players are to remain in the dressing
rooms until the Zamboni is finished and the Zamboni doors are closed.
Coaches will instruct the players when to go to the ice area. Players are
not permitted on the benches while the Zamboni is on the Ice.
In the interest of SAFETY FOR ALL. Please respect this Policy
Pee Wee House League
Tournament in Deer Lake on Dec 13th
C.B.M.H.A. has an invitation for one team to
participate in a Pee Wee House League tournament on December 13th in Deer
Lake. Any player that is not on the A/B roster can sign up on the sheet
located on the bulletin board near the canteen. The first 15 players and 2
goalies to sign up will be taken for this tournament only. Coaches will be
needed as well, anyone interested in coaching this team for the tournament
are also asked to sign this sheet. Details on this tournament to follow.
November 29, 2008:
Timbit Swim
All players registered in the Timbit 1 & 2 Divisions are invited to a FREE swim at
the College Pool on Saturday December 13, 2008 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
REGISTERED TIMBIT PLAYERS ONLY (and parents if necessary) because of
insurance restrictions.
Western Female AAA Midget Tryouts
The Western Female AAA Midgets are holding open
tryouts. Cost: $40.00 per player. The tryouts will be held at the Arena in
Rocky Harbour at the following
times:
Sunday, December 7, 2008 - 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. - 4:50
p.m.
Team management encourages all interested and eligible players to attend. If
you will be attending these tryouts, please contact John Street at 695-7618
after 5:00 p.m. / 695-2416 during the day or via email at

Cavin Gillingham Memorial Tournament
The Annual Cavin Gillingham Memorial Pee Wee Tournament will be taking place

Coach's Development Day
Registration
is now being accepted for the Coach Development Day taking place in various
locations across our province January 24, 2009. More information can be
obtained by following the link.

and we urge all coaches and minor hockey associations to take advantage of

Please note the deadline for registering is December 20, 2008.
***SCHEDULING NOTE***
For the advance notice of all players, December 6, 2008 is the scheduled
date for the Annual Corner Brook Christmas Parade. In keeping with
tradition, the younger divisions will be scheduled in the afternoon slots
(so they can participate fully in the parade) and the older divisions will
be scheduled earlier should ice slots be available from the Cavin Gillingham
House League Tournament.
